My personal preference is for location rather than studio shoots, and I have somewhat of a fetish for monochrome and stark lighting in the style of early 20th century film and photography… think Mick Rock and Antony Corbjin. I’m very much also into Victorian spirit photography and the work of people such as Erlend Mø rk, Stephen Kasner, Jeffery Scott, Joachim Luetke, Nena Blue, Gottfried Helnwein, Chad Michael Ward, Matt Lombard, John Coulthart, Waken the Dead, Owain Richards, and of course Salvador Dali.
Though in comparison, aside from Salvador Dali, my photo-shopping skills are nowhere near as good as the rest of these fine artists. For hire work such as model portfolio’s or bands, I prefer to shoot as simply and stylishly as possible to create a good base for later manipulation by the client or for my own portfolio.

Imago Mortis Photography Is Available for the following:
Clothing Catalogues, Alternative Modelling Portfolios / Websites (Concept Shoots, Headshots, Hair shots, Make-up Shots, Glamour, Soft-core Adult, Fetish), Bands (Live, Location & Studio Press Promos), Living History - Late 19th / Early 20th Century (Event, Posed & Short Promotional Films), Club Nights, DJ Promos.
(Modelling portfolios no matter what kind are available to those 18+ only. And I will want to see proof of that fact!)
I insist on releases being signed so that everyone has a written record of the shoot and the transactions involved.
Photography Rates:
A £20 deposit is required for all shoots over 3 hours in length unless we have discussed otherwise.
Location:
Per Hour + CD of all photos = £15.
3 hours on location + CD of all photos = £45. (Then £5 for each additional hour up to 6 hours).
Half day (6 hours) + CD of all photos = £55.
Full Day (8-12 hours) + CD of all photos = £75. (Overnight asignments will incur accomodation fees).
Studio:
I currently have no studio space so studio hire charge may apply (usually £40 for 2 hours) + Regular time rates.
Styling/MUA:
I can source Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists at no extra charge.
Re-Touching:
Post-shoot touch-ups, major effects (e.g ‘Antique’) = £10 additional on top of total.
Travel:
If you want to hire me and live outside the immediate area a variable travel cost will be included.
Concessions:
I will consider a sliding scale charge for an ‘on going collaboration’ as well as for very, very poor people (e.g. Students) who ask nicely.
Models: I will consider working TFP/TFCD as long as it is a concept that will look good in my portfolio and you are within the Lincoln area.
Students: I can offer a 15% discount for any students or student societies etc who want photos (Need to see proof though!)
Plans for the future include a new Imago Mortis ClothingsStudio shoot, and a two concept shoots from which selected pictures will be available as prints before christmas 2008 (models are already in place so please don't enquire). In 2009 I will begin a new series under the working title 'Imago Mortis: The Spirit of Gothic' which will be a series of Gothic photographs in the style of Victorian Spirit photography (Some macabre, some mournful, some scary, and some titilating, but all gothic).
